Mr. Micheo joined Cincinnati Ballet in 1988 to the delight our audiences. A native of Guatemala City, Guatemala, he began dancing at the local conservatory, later training at the Houston Ballet Academy, The Municipal School of Chile, and Steps New York. He has danced as a principal and Soloist with Ballet de Santiago, Houston Ballet, Sarasota Ballet, Tulsa Ballet as well as Cincinnati Ballet, Among Guesting around the world. His many roles during 17 years of affiliation with Cincinnati Ballet have ranged from a dark clock to the prince in the full-length ballets. Mr. Micheo has choreographed and re-staged full-length ballets for Cincinnati Ballet, teaches company classes and rehearse our dancers.
For a hobbies Mr. Micheo has designed his own line of winter sweaters
With his Beyond Ballet transition, Mr. Micheo became the Information and Technology Director for Cincinnati Ballet, the webmaster, company photographer (www.balletphotos.net), and Spanish/English translator. He has also orchestrated the digital archiving of the entire Cincinnati Ballet video library and history archives, a monumental task. Mr. Micheo's 24-7 devotion to Cincinnati Ballet brings a deep contentment and complete fulfillment to his heart. I only know how to give 110 percent - my dance discipline carries over and tells me that there is always a way and always room for improvement.
